About this qualification
The OCNLR Awards in Developing Leadership Skills are aimed at developing the leadership skills of learners, enriching their employability skills and personal growth. The Awards are available at Level 1 and Level 2 to make the topic accessible to the broad range of abilities and needs.
The purpose of the qualifications is to develop the leadership skills of learners, to apply in the workplace and other situations, thereby enhancing their prospects of gaining employment or progressing with their studies, or within their current role, whether employed, voluntary or as an active citizen.
The Award can be delivered to learners on full study programmes, particularly to 16-18 year olds, as part of an enrichment programme and in preparation for employment.
