Short Courses with Digital Resources
Overview
Having received feedback from our centres, we continue to develop new materials suitable for the blended delivery and assessment of OCN London qualifications.
We have developed the following FREE resources to support the delivery and assessment of OCN London qualifications listed below:
- Resource pack
This includes a PowerPoint presentation as well as a set of assessment tasks that cover the knowledge needed to obtain the qualification. It can be adapted by centres and used in many ways. Centres may want to add materials such as video or voice-overs or use the presentation to deliver to a group of learners online - Interactive resources
These are interactive course materials with learning checks and assessment tasks to ensure understanding. These can be used as a blended learning package or offered to learners for remote study - Online platform
Using our new online portfolio OPAL, this option offers a package to centres with comprehensive course materials and assessments. It is particularly useful for distance learning as it enables learners to complete and submit tasks, tutors to assess tasks and internal moderators to review assessed tasks and tutor feedback. Click on our step-by-step flowchart below to see the OPAL assessment process

Many popular units across a range of our qualifications also have resources or assessment tasks to support delivery. You can browse individual OCN London units with support materials here.
NB: The resources we provide must always be used in conjunction with the respective Qualification Guide. All assessments need to be internally marked and moderated by the centre. The resulting portfolios are then externally moderated by OCN London.
