About this qualification

The OCNLR Level 1 Award in Body Image and the Media aims to help learners understand how images of people are portrayed through the media, how the media can influence their own body image, and the cultural differences of how people are portrayed.

This Award is useful for people who want to know more about the topic for themselves or others, in their personal or professional lives.

The qualification is one of 16 single-unit Awards ‘nested’ in the OCNLR Certificate in Awareness of Mental Health and Wellbeing.
