About this qualification
The aim of the OCNLR Level 1 Award in Internet Safety is to help people stay safe when using the Internet by educating them about the dangers and risks associated with going online and how to combat them, in order that they can increase their protection all environments – work, home and leisure.
The qualification covers the risks that can exist when using the Internet, being able to safeguard themselves and others when working online, precautions to maintain data security and the legal constraints, guidelines and procedures which apply when working online.
