About this qualification

The OCNLR Level 3 Award for Trusted Assessor: Assessing for Minor Adaptations is aimed at enabling health and social care staff working with people living with a disability to decrease risk and increase independence and quality of life.

Learners will receive practical based training with nationally recognised concepts and assessment techniques. Once qualified, learners can use their new skills as a part of their roles to enhance the lives of disabled and /or older people.

The qualification is suitable for learners working within a health and social care role, including:

Nurses
Occupational therapy assistants
Support workers
Rehabilitation assistants
Care managers
Experienced handy people
Social workers
