About this qualification
We live in an increasingly data-driven world. Smart phones, smart watches and even smart fridges create and share data every second of the day. What can we do with that data? How is it being used and communicated in today’s world?
There are representations of data everywhere: from published research to personal budgeting plans; in the media for political gain and in marketing campaigns for financial gain.
The OCNLR Level 4 Award in Critically Interpreting Data aims to develop the learner’s ability to think critically about data and feel more confident in their ability to interpret representations of data in daily and academic life.
This qualification includes information on different types of data (including what should and shouldn’t be done with it), evaluating data sources, analysis techniques and communication styles utilising real world examples.
Upon , learners will have skills that are marketable to employers and that are useful when encountering any form of data from any source.
Funding
This qualification is available as a non-funding option.
