About this qualification

The OCNLR Level 3 Award in Technology in Teaching and Learning has been designed for both newly qualified and experienced teaching practitioners for use as part of their continuous professional development.

The qualification came about, following the recommendations of the FELTAG (Further Education Learning Technology Action Group) report, as well as the essential requirement to incorporate digital technologies into the learning environment.

It focuses on the skills required for communicating using a variety of software, using mobile devices to create and share multimedia content, using the cloud or a VLE system, and using video as an instrument for evaluation and feedback.

There is funding available for this qualification from the following source(s): Section 96.
