About this qualification

This qualification covers all aspects of breeding, welfare, care and behavioural development of puppies. This area is
assessed in line with the Regulations to show a high level of understanding across the whole subject area.

It is required to enhance the knowledge of learners who already, or who wish, to breed dogs and is a legal requirement for such learners to pass an Ofqual regulated Level 3 qualification to attain a higher standard of Licence.
