City & Islington College
City and Islington College has set a standard for success as one of the country’s largest and most successful providers of further education. Every year, thousands of young people and adults successfully learn with them, enabling them to go on to further studies and employment. The college offers an exceptionally wide range of courses at all levels from basic skills through to higher education. It is judged ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted and is the first general further education college to win the prestigious Queen’s Anniversary Prize twice.
All staff in the College support teaching and learning, directly or indirectly, and with that comes a great sense of pride when students achieve the qualifications that will change their lives. The College works closely with local employers, and has very strong links with universities to open up higher education to all students, with the number of students progressing to university improving each year.
