About this qualification
The OCNLR Level 2 Award in Understanding Safeguarding in a Working Environment is aimed at confirming individuals’ understanding of the Safeguarding Agenda requirements and preparing staff and volunteers to know how to act and react, if placed in a safeguarding situation.
The Award is suitable for staff and volunteers working, or intending to work, in environments where safeguarding could be an issue, including, but not exclusively: charities and public sector organisations, private training providers, local authorities and adult learning providers, educational institutions, taxi companies and public transport, and those providing mobile services in people’s homes.
