About this qualification:
The OCNLR Level 2 Award in esports provides learners with knowledge and understanding in the principles of engaging and contributing to their community via the hosting, promoting and marketing of an esports tournament. The qualification introduces learners to key skills in communication, leadership and teamwork as well as enhancing digital skills in an exciting market. Learners will benefit by gaining an insight into how they might ethically and responsibly engage with bringing about positive change in their local community. The development of these transferable and digital skills will aid them for future employment or continued study, as well as personal growth.The qualification lends itself well to project-based activities within which learners may use the results of their individual research for productive ends whether they be personal, academic or work-related.
