OCN London Sponsors Racing for Hope: A Go-Kart Challenge for Macmillan Cancer Support

OCN London was proud to support the Racing for Hope Go-Kart Challenge, hosted by Barking & Dagenham College on Wednesday 21 May 2025 at their Rush Green Campus. This action-packed event brought together students, educators and community partners for a meaningful day of racing, learning and fundraising—all in support of Macmillan Cancer Support.

Powered by Students, Fuelled by Purpose

The event featured incredible student-led efforts across the Engineering, Motor Vehicle, Digital, Creative, and Sports departments. From designing and building the Go-Karts to filming and marshalling the race, students developed real-world industry skills through hands-on collaboration and creative problem-solving.

OCN London proudly sponsored several of the Go-Karts, which carried our branding on the track as a symbol of our ongoing commitment to supporting learner development and community causes.

Racing with a Cause

In addition to showcasing talent and teamwork, Racing for Hope raised vital funds for Macmillan Cancer Support, helping to provide care and assistance to those affected by cancer. The outpouring of support from stakeholders and local businesses was inspiring, and we were thrilled to be part of such a positive initiative.
