We are pleased to share that we have been approved by the Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation (Ofqual) to deliver Digital Functional Skills qualifications. This now enables us to offer these qualifications to OCN London approved Centres, alongside their Essential Digital Skills Qualifications suite, with immediate effect.

Digital Functional Skills qualifications (DFSQs) are a new set of qualifications that will replace all existing Functional Skills ICT qualifications. DFSQs are designed to provide individuals with the skills they need to use digital technology effectively in the workplace and their everyday lives.

They will be available at two levels: Entry Level 3 and Level 1 and learners will need to complete 55 hours of guided learning to pass the qualifications.

Based on customer feedback, we have made several adjustments to our Digital qualifications’ resources and how they are assessed, whilst maintaining the accessibility of our simulation-based practical assessments and the high standards you would expect from OCN London.

Our CEO, Carlos Cubillo-Barsi said,

We are delighted to have been approved by Ofqual to deliver Digital Functional Skills qualifications. These qualifications are essential for learners who want to develop the skills they need to succeed in the digital age. We are confident that our Centres and their learners will benefit from our high-quality support, especially our new online assessment service.
