Unlocking Potential: Investment, Reform & Further Education

Whilst we await the publication of a final report and clarity on the direction of travel from the Curriculum and Assessment Review, the Education Select Committee made up of cross party MPs have published a report highlighting how they see that the Government  could spread prosperity and achieve its mission of economic growth by investing in the further education (FE) and skills sector. In doing so they outline a number of key areas including pay in FE, the role of Skills England, flexibility within T Levels, the issue of mental health and a response to the now long running debate around Applied General qualifications.
