Online Standardisation – Supported Learning
Join us for an online standardisation session focused on OCN London’s Supported Learning qualifications, including Skills for Independence and Employability.
Our Supported Learning qualifications are designed for learners who may need additional support to develop the skills, knowledge and confidence needed for greater independence, further learning, employment and everyday life. They are particularly suitable for learners with SEND and those who benefit from a more accessible and flexible approach to learning and assessment.
This interactive session will support assessors, IQAs and other centre staff to explore effective assessment practice within Supported Learning. We will review examples of learner evidence, consider how different types of evidence can be used to demonstrate achievement, and discuss the consistent application of assessment criteria while recognising the individual needs of learners.
The session will also provide an opportunity to share good practice, discuss common assessment challenges and ask questions about delivering and assessing these qualifications.
