Level 2 Adult Social Care Certificate update

The Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) have commissioned Skills for Care to create a specification for a new qualification based on existing standards and requirements for those employed in a Health and Social Care role.

The new qualification, the Level 2 Adult Social Care Certificate, was developed in partnership with the Care sector through a series of focus groups and discussions with employers and subject matter experts.

The Level 2 Adult Social Care Certificate is set to launch in June 2024 and will be available as part of the OCN London Health, Early Years and Social Care portfolio.
