Access courses are an excellent route to university for adults (aged 19+) who do not have the qualifications normally required or may have been out of education for some time. Taught by expert tutors in our innovative learning environment, our Access courses allow you to build your skills, knowledge and confidence – getting you to the right standard to start studying your chosen subject at HE level.

In addition to providing a high level of support throughout your studies, we have strong links with leading London universities and are committed to helping our Access students to secure a place on an HE course.

Our Access to HE Diploma courses are offered at Lewisham College’s main campus, which is easy to reach by train, DLR or bus.

• Duration of course: one year
• Learning support: our Learning Centre gives students access to a range of resources including core course text books (print and online), over 100 desktop computers and mobile devices, printing facilities, and a variety of study areas for different ways of working. We also offer support – either individually or in groups – to help you improve your ICT, digital, study and research skills as well as your English and maths. We offer specialised support for students with autism, dyslexia, physical disabilities, visual and hearing impairments and other needs.
