Marketing and PR Specialist
- Location: London – Islington
- Remuneration: Base salary £40,822.85
OCN London is an established Awarding Organisation regulated by Ofqual with a mission to widen participation in, and provide access to, high quality and flexible education and training that is recognised, certificated and quality assured through a framework of accreditation.
As part of the Partnerships and Engagement Team, the successful candidate will be responsible for contributing to the growth of the business by implementing marketing strategies and responding to client demand. This will include but will not be limited to offering launches, email campaigns, advertising, social media management, attending industry events and designing promotional material.

The Role
You will be implementing the OCN London Marketing and PR process. This will require you being able to:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the client base.
- Network at industry events to build client relationships.
- Develop strategies to convert leads into sales.
- Maintain strong relationships with both existing and potential clients.
- Serve as the main contact for client inquiries and ensure satisfaction.
- Update clients on new products and services.
- Create and manage marketing campaigns and content across various channels.
- Represent OCN London at public events and in media.
- Develop and manage the marketing budget, providing accurate reports.
- Collaborate with senior management on marketing strategies.
- Analyse market trends and competitor activities for strategic decisions.
- Prepare regular reports on sales and marketing performance, including client feedback and market insights.
About you
- A degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Experience in sales, marketing, and public relations, ideally in education or training.
- Strong industry network and proven client acquisition success.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships and influencing decisions.
- Creative and strategic thinker capable of developing effective marketing campaigns.
- Confident, outgoing, and skilled at client engagement and representation.
- Adaptable, flexible, and willing to embrace new challenges.
